3 New Fresh Cuts You Need To Hear

3 New Fresh Cuts You Need To Hear

1. Colton Dixon – “Devil Is A Liar”

With an unshakable groove that pulsates underneath hypnotic and honest verses before swinging towards an arena-size chant on the chorus, we’re excited to add “Devil Is A Liar” to the BOOST lineup. Expanding the scope of his signature sound for the first time, Dixon imparts life’s ebbs and flows into an empowering, engaging, and enigmatic take on pop referential of his catalog, yet evolved and steeped in newfound inspiration. Acclaimed by everyone from People to Billboard and streamed over 100 million times to date, the award-winning and history-making singer, songwriter, and producer channels such growth into the EP. Following a three-year break, Dixon returns with a new sound informed by true experiences.

2. Zauntee – “I’m Sorry”

Today on social media, Christian rapper Zauntee announced the title and the album cover for his upcoming debut album which he’s calling 3:34. “My debut album 3:34 drops soon! Been through so much to get here, and God gets all the glory.” Zauntee shared. “I put my life into this project, so to everyone fighting everyday battles hoping for a brighter future, this is for you.”

3. Lecrae – “Zombie”

Surging or insurgent – depending on your point of view – he’s blessed with a visionary verbal arsenal and an abiding faith that’s piloted a unique career trajectory defying the typical hip hop storyline. ‘The system may not have planned for this,’ wrote Vibe about Lecrae, ‘but it’s definitely coming around.’ “More caught than taught,” is how the artist describes his incredible journey that includes two Grammys, a history-making #1 album with his masterful 2014 offering, Anomaly (topped multiple categories, including the Billboard 200 and is RIAA Gold certified), and a compelling live resume, most recently notching a headlining 2016 ‘Destination’ tour which Lecrae says was about “real unity, not pretend unity.” He continues to thoughtfully engage the culture, reeling off a NY Times Bestseller (last year’s riveting memoir ‘Unashamed’) and a breakthrough spoken word performance at the BET Hip Hop Awards last fall that had the twittersphere heralding his arrival as truth-telling firebrand. BET hailed it as an “epic poem,” of “necessary affirmations.”
