Forrest Frank’s “Your Way Is Better” Is Blowing Up—But the Backstory Might Wreck You

Have you seen it yet?

The Your Way Is Better dance is taking over the internet—and we’re here for it. What started as a simple honest prayer, turned to choreography, which then turned into a full-on viral moment! People everywhere are posting videos dancing to Forrest Frank’s powerful anthem, and the numbers are insane.

We’re talking over 690,000 videos using the song on TikTok, which have brought in hundreds of millions of views! And the song itself has racked up more than 45.5 million streams on Spotify.

That’s a lot of people singing (and dancing) along to lyrics like “Jesus, Your way’s better.”

When was the last time a worship song set the internet on fire like this?

You know BOOST had to join in.

BOOST Radio couldn’t sit this one out. We jumped on the trend and dropped our own version of the Your Way Is Better dance—and yeah, we even made a tutorial so you can learn it too.

No judgment if you’ve got two left feet—we’ve got you.

It didn’t start with a dance. It started with an honest prayer.

Forrest Frank shared that Your Way Is Better was born on a really tough day. He was feeling the weight of sin—honestly, feeling defeated after lingering too long on a post he shouldn’t have. In that raw moment, he cried out to God while driving:

“Oh Lord, I need You now more than ever. Would You put my heart back together? I searched the world ’til my head hurt just to find out Your way’s better.”

That line didn’t come from a writing session—it poured out of him mid-prayer, melody and all. He voice-memoed it right there in the car. Later, backstage on tour, he produced the track with a friend. And just like that, a moment of honesty became a song that the Holy Spirit clearly had His hand on.

This is more than a trend.

Think about it—millions of people are dancing to a song that straight-up proclaims “Jesus, Your way’s better.” That’s wild.

And it all started with one guy being real with God about where he messed up—and trusting that God could still use him.

God can use anything. Even our mistakes. Even a TikTok trend. Even a dance.

And if that’s not good news, we don’t know what is.
