If so, a job in the BOOST Radio and 99.1 JOY FM Marketing Department may be for you! (JOY FM is the sister station of BOOST Radio.)
This position is based at the BOOST flagship studios in St. Louis, MO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance the ministries visibility and engagement through on air, online and on site events and promotions
- Assist with creation and implementation of promotional events for JOY FM and BOOST RADIO that are consistent with the vision and mission of the station
- Build great relationships with staff members, volunteers, JOY and BOOST donors and those listeners
- Build station contests on all stations platforms and facilitating pick up/delivery of prizes
- Ensuring, whether daily/weekly, that the station websites and all social media platforms are up to date with promotional efforts
- Handle email correspondence with JOY FM and BOOST RADIO ministry partners about promotions and special events.
- Maintain excellent information flow between the Marketing Department and on air team
- Maintain station promotional inventory and remote equipment
- Maintain multiple ministry calendars
- Meet deadlines set by the management team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Completed a degree in a related field (Communications, Marketing, Media, Ministry)
- 1-3 years of experience
- A passion for ministry and reaching a community for Jesus
- Excellent communication skills
- Team focused mentality
- Great attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Ability or willingness to drive larger station vehicles and lift up up to 50 pounds
- Experience in social media is a plus
