BOOST Radio (and BOOST’s sister station, JOY FM) are looking for an addition to our accounting department. This full-time position is based out of BOOST’s home in St. Louis, MO, and includes taking exceptional care of our donors, accounting and data entry, database management, and more! If you have the skills necessary to fill this crucial role in the ministry of BOOST and JOY FM, tell us about yourself.
We’re looking for an Accounting Associate to join our team. If you are a person of integrity with excellent attention to detail, an understanding of accounting practices and proficient communication skills, we think you will thrive here. This position is full-time requiring approximately 40 hours per week. Additional hours may be required during specific seasons of the year. You will own key functions of managing the donor database, data entry, receivables, accounts payable and journal entries.
The accounting associate position reports directly to the Accounting Manager.
Essential Responsibilities
- Communicate with donors
- Donation receivable processing
- Manage donor database
- Prepare monthly donor statements
- Partnership underwriting and invoicing
- Accounts receivable, accounts payable and journal entries
- Perform other duties as requested by the Accounting Manager

Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficient in Excel and Intuit Quickbooks, or similar accounting software
- 1+ Years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Degree preferred in the field of business/accounting/finance

- Foundational audio production skills
- Foundational music theory knowledge (such as counting beats/measures/bars)
- You know your way around DAW’s like Adobe Audition or Pro Tools
You’ll create cue sheets for each mix set, and blend station branding between songs. If you’re an experienced producer, this should take you 30 minutes each week.
